Starting with the Autumn meeting 2024, RSGS members (and guests) will be able to pay using a credit or debit card of their choice. We will be using the PayPal platform to facilitate this, meaning that those of you who have a PayPal account will, of course be able to use that. Below is a brief description of how it will work.
- You will receive an email from ‘service@paypal.co.uk’. The subject will be ‘You’ve got a money request’. The email will then explain that The Royal Swedish Golfing Society has sent you a money request. Under this the amount will be specified, and after that there is a blue button that says ‘Pay Now’.
- Clicking on the ‘Pay Now’ button will take you to a PayPal landing page (pictured below). If you have a PayPal account, you log in there and complete the transaction. If you do NOT have a PayPal account, choose the option underneath – a grey button that says ‘Pay Without a PayPal Account’.
- Clicking the grey button will take you to a page that allows you to enter your preferred card details.
We have chosen to do this as the majority of our members have requested the option to pay online, using a credit or debit card. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch with our Secretary!
