RSGS welcomed an impressive field of 24 players to Effingham Golf Club on Friday the 7th of June 2024. With wonderful views over Surrey and rated by Golf World as England’s “finest downland course,” it was perfectly presented and the greens on the day were widely considered as very testing.
Weather conditions were ideal for golf with occasional sunny spells, but also breezy at times. That said, overall Stableford scores were at a high level. Well done to all participants and it was great to meet two of our newest members Olle Sundberg and Peter Engwall. We look forward to seeing you again at future RSGS meetings!
